Mosaic Beach Studio is home to mosaicist Tanya MacFarlane. She had been working in mosaic part-time for many years but hung out her shingle mosaicking full-time in 2001. 

Mosaic Beach retail came into being in 2003 to fill the void for mosaic materials in Canada.
