My wish for Mosaic Beach Studio is for the store move to be completed. Oh, that's right, it IS!! We are now firmly ensconced in our new location, 3 whole buildings east of the last location. Note that we now have PARKING beside the store (one spot, but hey anything helps between 4-6pm)!

"EVERYTHING BUT THE KITCHEN SINK" SEMINAR. You've been asking and we've finally done it. We will be holding a day long seminar at the studio on Sunday March 25th from 11-5pm. This seminar is not a class in the usual sense as you will not make a mosaic but you will take home a great handout and a brain full of info. This seminar will cover EVERYTHING related to mosaic from tools to adhesives, materials to methods. We will cover all 4 methods of installation (direct, indirect, mesh method & casting) as well as guidelines to andamenti (directional laying of the tesserae)& common errors. Lunch will be served & the room only holds 8 people so book early to hold your space. $95 per person plus GST. Mosaic Seminar

12 shades of Italian smalti & new pricing for all smalti! Due to a lucky break we have been able to buy limited quantities of Italian smalti for a great price. We have 12 shades now with more coming but when they are gone..they are most definitely gone. We have also changed the pricing structure of all smalti to help those of you who only want small quantities. The price is now by the ounce ($1.75/oz) until you reach a pound where you get a better price for quantity ($27/lb). Start with a little; buy a lot only when you need it. Italian Smalti
