This is a one day workshop where you will learn EVERYTHING about mosaicking but not actually create anything. Great for out of towners or folks looking to improve their knowledge of mosaic.

OUTLINE.

1 Brief History of Mosaic.

2. Mosaic Tesserae (we cover all of the possible materials used for mosaics)

3. Substrates (all forms of bases are discussed including prep)

4. Adhesives (when to use what, where!)

5. Methods. We will demonstrate the casting, indirect and double direct methods.

6. Grout. We will do a grout demo too!

Class is 10-3pm. Lunch is provided.  (sandwiches and salad)

50% deposit required to hold your place.

14 days notice: Full refund
Less than 14 days notice: 50% deposit is forfeited. This will ensure that last minute cancellations will not cancel the class and disappoint other students and also ensures that those who want to attend are not shut out.  This deposit cannot be applied towards future classes.
